On December 20, 2017, the seminar on the topic “Audit software-based methodologies – how is technology transforming the audit” took place at Ternopil National Economic University. The event occurred online in the collaboration with the World Bank consultant Aneta Wilk-Lys (Republic of Poland) and by the invitation of Valentina Panasyuk (Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing) and Oksana Adamyk (acting Head of the Department of Audit, Control and Analysis). The online guest was previously involved in a series of seminars organized by the Audit Chamber of Ukraine under the STAREP project with the support of the World Bank and the European Union.
The teaching staff of the Department of Audit, Auditing and Analysis and senior students took an active part in the discussion. Issues of audit reform in Ukraine as part of the implementation of European legislation and computerization were discussed during the discussion. There were drawn on parallels on the audit issues in Poland and Ukraine.
